Collaborations

At LSPRI, collaboration lies at the heart of our mission. We believe meaningful policy work happens when students, institutions, and policymakers come together to exchange ideas, share expertise, and act collectively. Through our partnerships with think tanks, organizations, and government institutions, we’ve been able to extend our impact beyond campus and into real-world policy spaces.

🤝 Awareness and Donation Drive with IPLR

In collaboration with the Initiative for Policy and Legal Research (IPLR), LSPRI organized an awareness and donation drive addressing the issue of fast fashion and sustainability. The initiative encouraged students to donate clothing items and rethink consumption patterns, tying everyday choices to broader policy discussions on climate and social responsibility. This partnership reflected our shared goal of linking policy awareness with community action

📚 Navigating Policy Research – Workshop with IPRI

LSPRI partnered with the Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI) to host Navigating Policy Research, a workshop led by Maham Naveed. The session introduced students to practical methods in policy writing, data analysis, and research design — equipping participants with the skills to approach policy as young researchers and future leaders.

💡 CERP Policy Workshop

Through our collaboration with the Center for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP), we hosted an interactive workshop on policy design and evidence-based reform. The workshop offered participants a closer look at how economic and social policies are formulated, evaluated, and implemented, bridging the gap between theory and application.

📊 CDPR Policy Workshop

Continuing our engagement with Pakistan’s leading research networks, LSPRI collaborated with the Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR) to organize a workshop focused on policy research and data-driven decision-making. Students learned how to translate research into actionable recommendations — a key step in effective governance and reform.

🏛️ Collaboration with the National Assembly of Pakistan

LSPRI has collaborated with the National Assembly of Pakistan to provide internship opportunities for LUMS students interested in public policy and governance. This partnership allows students to work directly within parliamentary institutions, gaining firsthand experience in legislative processes, policy formulation, and committee operations. Through this initiative, LSPRI continues to build pathways that connect academic inquiry with real-world policymaking.
